In the first chapter it appeared as if Beeke might take us down a moralistic road, but he soon turns from this and goes in a gospel-driven direction. In fact, there are a multitude of books out there of Christain living. Most books on sanctification (Christian living, holiness, prayer, etc.) are written very poorly, often promoting questionable if not unbiblical theology.
