Description :Demonstrates that biblical Christianity and Qur'anic Islam are two dramatically different belief systems. Features tables comparing passages from the Bible and the Quran.
From the Foreword by Peter A. Lillback. Both Islam and Christianity claim to teach the truth about ultimate reality. In The Truth about Islam, Anees Zaka and Diane Coleman make clear, in prose and in charts and tables, what each religion teaches about its founder, its scriptures, its supreme being, and law and grace. The authors take the reader to the original sources, the Noble Qur’an and the Holy Bible, to compare each faith’s scriptures point for point.
“Dispels the fog of confused ideas about Islam. The writers carefully examine the Qur’an and the Bible and lay a framework for discussion between the two competing faiths based on them.”
—Roger S. Greenway, editor of Islam and the Cross
“A wonderful exposition of the clear differences between Islam and Christianity. While not afraid to be forthright with the shortcomings of Islam, the authors present the material in a winsome way with a desire to see Muslims won to Christ.”
—Bruce A. McDowell, coauthor of Muslims and Christians at the Table
Anees Zaka (D.Min., Westminster Theological Seminary) is the founder and director of Church without Walls and founder and president of the Biblical Institute for Islamic Studies, both in Philadelphia.
