SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY
A New Systematic Theology of the Christian Faith (2nd ed.) by Robert L. Reymond
A New Systematic Theology of the Christian Faith expresses a fully biblical Reformed faith, showing its enduring appeal, coherence, and truthfulness. Faithful to historic Calvinist convictions, this new benchmark of Reformed Theology covers all the main teachings of the Bible and engages contemporary theological issues with the resources of biblical revelation and sound historical reflection so that the light of the Reformation continues to illumine the life of Christ's church today. A contemporary, foundational statement of classic reformed faith, now revised and updated.

BIBLICAL THEOLOGY
Biblical Theology by Geerhardus Vos
These valuable pages contain the ripe fruit of the 39 years which Vos spent teaching Biblical Theology at Princeton, until his retirement in 1932. The aim of this book is no less than to provide an account of the unfolding of the mind of God in history, through the successive agents of his special revelation. Vos handles this under three main divisions: the Mosaic epoch of revelation, the prophetic epoch of revelation, and the New Testament. Such an historical approach is not meant to supplant the work of the systematic theologian; nevertheless, the Christian gospel is inextricably bound up with history, and the biblical theologian thus seeks to highlight the uniqueness of each biblical document in that succession. Geerhardus Vos was invited to teach biblical theology at Princeton Seminary in 1893. He remained there until his retirement in 1932, and he died in 1949.

CLASSICAL THEOLOGY
The Bondage of the Will by Martin Luther
Luther's work is fundamental to an understanding of the chief Reformation doctrines: our total inability to save ourselves, the sovereignty of divine grace, justification by faith, and predestination and God's foreknowledge. This accurate translation conveys the impetuousness and vigor of the original language. The Blueprint for the Reformation. Includes a 50-page introduction and a helpful Scripture index. Luther himself considered this the most important of his works.

Overcoming Sin & Temptation
by John Owen
John Owen's three classic works on sin and temptation are profoundly helpful to any believer who seeks to become more like Jesus Christ. In this volume, the editors have made Owen's language more accessible without sacrificing any of his wonderful content. It is a uniquely accessible edition of John Owen's previously daunting work. The writings of John Owen are a challenge to any reader, to say the least. His intricacy and complexity are intimidating and his language is downright befuddling at times. However, the depth of thought and the immense value of Owen’s works cannot be quantified. His three classic works on sin and temptation are profoundly helpful to any believer who seeks to become more like Jesus Christ. In this volume, the editors have made updates to the language, translated the Latin, Greek, and Hebrew and footnoted difficult or unknown phrases, all without sacrificing any of the wonderful content of Owen’s work. It is a uniquely accessible edition of John Owen’s previously daunting work.

The Religious Affections by Jonathan Edwards
Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758) is best known as the theologian of revival. In this, his major study on the theme, he analyzes the nature of a genuine work of the Holy Spirit. He was one of the few truly great theologians of the English speaking world, an intellectual and spiritual giant. Of his several treatises in this field, The Religious Affections ranks as his magnum opus. The author's object in this book is to distinguish between true and false religion by showing the marks of a saving work of the Holy Spirit in men. In his Preface, Edwards stresses the importance of using "our utmost endeavours clearly to discern...wherein true religion does consist." For "till this be done, it may be expected that great revivings of religion will be but of short continuance."

GENERAL THEOLOGY
God of Promise: Introducing Covenant Theology by Michael Horton
"It's not just that we were created and then given a covenant," writes author Michael Horton. "We were created as covenant creatures--partners not in deity but in the drama about to unfold throughout history."

While some Bible readers quake at the mention of "covenant" or "doctrine," it is vitally important to recognize and understand the significance of covenant and its role in bridging the gap between sinner and salvation. Why? Because to understand covenant theology is to understand how it unifies the diverse teachings of Scripture, binds the Old and New Testaments as one narrative, and enriches the meaning in your relationship with the Triune God.

Whether new to Reformed theology or not, every believer needs to understand the importance of covenants. God of Promise unpacks covenant theology so you can explore the core of Christianity: knowing--and honoring--the promises of our Creator.

Since biblical times covenants have been a part of everyday life. Simply put, they are promises, agreements, or contracts. But how do they translate into faith and the reading of Scripture? Are covenants merely elements of a narrative? Or do they represent something more? And what are the eternal implications of "cutting" a covenant with God?

In God of Promise, author Michael Horton unwinds the intricacies of crucial covenant concepts, showing how they provide a significant organizational structure for all of Scripture. They give us a context in which to understand the voices and message of the biblical narrative. They provide life with a goal and history with a meaning.

Whether you're a pastor, ministry leader, or professor, God of Promise will give you a new understanding of covenants and covenant theology, providing a framework for an important theological concept.

Institutes of Elenctic Theology (3 vol. set) by Francis Turretin
This is Francis Turretin's magnum opus, a massive work of Reformed scholasticism. Written originally in Latin with sentences frequently lasting nearly a half a page, Turretin's Institutes are at once familiar, profound, erudite, thorough and precise, detailed, comprehensive, historically significant, and truly Reformed. Turretin organized his Institutes into 20 topics (loci) that range from "Prolegomena" (that is, very necessary introductory considerations) to "The Last Things." Each topic (locus) is organized by specific questions. The work is Elenctic (polemic or argumentitive), for a large chunk of this work is written against the Roman Catholics, Arminians, Socinians, Anabaptists, Molinists and others. Translated by George Musgrave Giger and edited by James T. Dennison Jr.
