Intensely practical from the beginning to end.   Focus upon the attitudes of heart and behavior of life that ought to adorn the doctrines of the gospel.   Exhortations are drawn from Scripture. Lot's to glean from this gem. The are some minor areas of of theological inconsistency, but overall it is a helpful and effective book exhorting God's people to live pious and godly lives.
