Description: The Five Solas Wooden Plaque is Engraved with the Five Basic Theological Beliefs of the Protestant Reformation

This custom-carved plaque is handmade from solid select Cherry. All the parts are milled in a home workshop. The body surface of this ready-to-hang Wall Art piece is cut and book-matched from one piece of wood to accentuate the beautiful figure of the Cherry's grain.  

The lettering is carved on a CNC router and then hand painted. The hand-rubbed finish consists of four coats of a polyurethane/oil blend and two coats of an oil/wax blend. This method provides both a durable and an heirloom quality finish. Wall hanging hardware is included on the back.

Here is the Latin text inscribed on this elegant piece of Wall Art (English translation in parentheses):

Sola Gratia (By Grace Alone)
Sola Fide (Through Faith Alone)
Solus Christus (In Christ Alone)
Sola Scriptura (According to Scripture Alone)
Soli Deo Gloria (To the Glory of God Alone)

Note Regarding Pieces Crafted of Wood: Although select materials are used, wood is a natural product and as such possesses unique qualities. Knot holes, unusual figure, worm holes, or resin spots are not imperfections. These occurrences are characteristic of this treasure called "wood."
