Description: Seven of the most famous sayings in the world - more widely recognised now than when they were uttered 2000 years ago - but are they better known? "Father forgive them for they know not what they do" "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." "Dear woman, here is your son, here is your mother." "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? (My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?)" "I thirst." "It is finished." "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." If you want to know what Jesus really meant by these famous sayings then Pink is a reliable guide.

"This book, first published in the 1920s, has become a classic treatment of Jesus' seven sayings on the cross. Those who know Pink writings will concur that this is Pink at his very best. As only Pink could, he extracts a wealth of devotional material from each saying. Thoroughly recommended to all."
--The Evangelical Presbyterian
