Description: "Volume Three: Christ and His Work" explains why God sent Jesus, what work Jesus did to accomplish our salvation, and what He does still today.

It explains about Jesus’ nature, what his roles (offices) are, and how he reconciled us to God.

Heady stuff! But your kids are ready for it, and there’s no better time to start teaching them the deep truths of God.

"Volume Three: Christ and His Work" was recorded in Vancouver, WA in 2007, and includes the voices of 11 children.

The CD contains 12 songs, and the titles are:
1. Can you repent and believe in Christ by your own power?
2. What is meant by the Atonement?
3. How were people saved before the coming of Christ? Listen to sample clip (MP3)
4. How did people show their faith before the coming of Christ?
5. How did Christ, being God the Son, become man? Listen to sample clip (MP3)

About the Music
The music from Songs for Saplings is designed to help you teach your children about God.

Children are like sponges, and love to soak in knowledge. At Songs for Saplings we create lively, fun songs that attempt to deliver the deepest of Biblical truth in a format that your children will love to listen to.

We're creating a set of CDs that you can use with your children--from very young children through middle-school. The CDs become progressively more advanced as you progress in the series.

Songs for Saplings: ABCs is designed for preschool and kindergarten children.

The Songs for Saplings: Questions with Answers Volumes 1-3 are designed for children age 3-5, 5-6, and 6-7 respectively.

We hope to produce Songs for Saplings: Questions with Answers Volumes 4-6 in the next three years.

The music is written and produced by Dana Dirksen. It is Dana's prayer that these CDs will continue to "find their way into night table CD players and minivans around the world" so that children can continue to hear these great truths from scripture. That they can learn about their God, how he cares for them, and that they can learn to love him more.

What parents are saying about Songs for Saplings:
"My children love your music! They have learned so many Bible verses and Bible concepts through listening to your music, and can't stop singing and dancing to it! Our family has been so blessed by your gift of spreading God's word through music. Thank you!"
--Becky

"Dana's music has really impacted our WHOLE family. Her music and especially the lyrics are far superior than your typical "kids' praise/worship music" with substantial Scriptural backing. It has become a witnessing tool for our children when we pick up kids for school, lessons or basketball."
--B. Bunch

There are plenty of children's cd's with wrong doctrine and cheesy music. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. I lead a contemporary worship team for a calvinistic church and these songs were actually pretty decent. I highly recommend this cd!
